...the industry first XDS-1230 Extended Discharge Clean Agent Fire Suppression System
The XDS-1230™ is a patented, extended discharge fire protection system utilizing 3M™ NOVEC-1230™ (FK-5-12) clean agent. The system is capable of providing fire protection for hazards that fail to meet retention times required by NFPA 2001 for total flooding. The system is electrically activated via a 24V output from a listed releasing panel and utilizes a solenoid that is commonly cross listed with all major manufacturers. The NOVEC-1230 (FK-5-12) agent flow rate is based upon the specific needs of the protected space and controlled by a modular flow control manifold which can be modified to meet a wide range of protected spaces. The NOVEC-1230 (FK-5-12) agent is delivered through an ANSI / NFPA 2001 compliant stainless steel pipe network and utilizes custom brass nozzles. The system was developed by a special hazards team with over 100 years of combined industry experience - holding degrees in physics as well as NICET Level IV Special Hazards certifications. The system is available to end users and special hazards contractors across the U.S.
